24 Hour Comic Book. So my good buddy Daniel Sanches calls me up the other day and asks me to join him in the upcoming 24 Hour Comics Day event. 8pm to 8pm to concept, write, pencil, ink and letter an entire comic book. I'll keep you posted.

Wizard World. Had a great time at the Wizard World Comic Book and Pop Culture convention over the weekend. Artist alley was packed with super talented self publisher's and independent studios. One I found particularly promising was a small studio called Fly Boy Press. Check 'em out if you get a chance.

Doodles. A few new posts in the sketchbook section. Check 'em out. The inked Metabaron was for a contest held on the MSN Group of Travis Charest. Worth checking out.

Mission accomplished. I finished up my issue of The Nine. I had a blast working on it and want to give a big thanks to Daniel Sanchez and Dan Fu for their guidance and friendship along the way. The book was presented last weekend at the Wizard World Convention. Due to some minor production issues, I was unable to be there once they hit the table. I'm eagerly awaiting feedback...

Word! Daniel Sanchez, creator of The Nine, has agreed to take over writing duties on 'Downbeat.' Sanchez is an incredible talent with a passion that is undeniable. Look for his work in the upcoming limited edition ashcan launch of the title slated for winter of this year. Welcome aboard, Daniel!
